Building Stronger Communities
Our Approach
OUR vision
Thriving communities with access to healthcare, opportunity and growth.
OUR mission
Building trusted partnerships that transform local priorities into sustainable solutions.
why our model works
Cedar Tanzania is our locally led sister organisation based in Tanzania. Together, we combine local leadership, community knowledge and strategic support to deliver sustainable development initiatives that respond to locally identified priorities.
Our team in Tanzania works alongside community members every day, building trusted relationships and ensuring programmes remain relevant, practical and community owned.
Australia for Cedar Tanzania supports this work through fundraising, strategic partnerships, governance, capacity building and volunteer engagement.
This partnership model allows us to invest in long-term solutions rather than short-term interventions, creating lasting impact across healthcare, education and community development.
Australia for Cedar Tanzania is registered with Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) in Australia since its formation in 2018.
What We Focus On
Every programme we support begins with a locally identified need and is developed in partnership with the communities we serve.

Education
Supporting learning opportunities that equip children, young people and adults with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive.
Livelihoods
Creating pathways to economic opportunity through vocational training, enterprise development and locally led initiatives.
Community Development
Working alongside local leaders and residents to identify priorities, strengthen capacity and support sustainable change.
